About Us

International Bible Fellowship (IBF) is a Christian group whose mission is to help people of all nations to FIND JESUS and FOLLOW JESUS.

Most of the people coming to International Bible Fellowship are either studying, working or living in and around the campuses of Australian National University and University of Canberra.

At our weekly meetings we enjoy a great time of fun, fellowship with friends and spend some time reading the bible. Some of our Bible studies are run in an easy English format so that people can practice their English.

International Bible Fellowship is led by Pastor Adam Chessum and a team of leaders who all know and love the Lord Jesus Christ and are passionate about sharing the good news of Jesus with everyone.

International Bible Fellowship is a ministry of Gungahlin Bible Church and Adam is one of the pastors at Gungahlin Bible Church. Adam is married to Kay Ling and they have a son in middle school. Adam grew up in north east Victoria and heard about Jesus when he occasionally went to church and listened to the Bible being read. He gradually came to understand the grace of God and his deep need to trust in Jesus at the age of nineteen. Adam is a graduate of ANU with a Visual Arts degree in painting and then after a Ministry Apprenticeship studied at Moore Theological College (Sydney). He has had many years of ministry experience explaining the good news of Jesus to people from different cultures.

We look forward to seeing you at our weekly IBF meetings!
